Victorian Rotherhithe Walking Tour
Date(s) - 05/04/2021
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Drawing on the richness of the museum’s location and local history we are exploring and extending our core Brunel stories, which link to the museum as a cultural & social hub for the Rotherhithe community.
We are revisiting some topics for our family walks and adding some new tours. The Victorian Rotherhithe walk will take you back to 1843 when Rotherhithe was a lively village with workhouses, docks, shipbuilders, and families will hear about its residents, from mudlarks to coal whippers, deal porters, and the Brunels of course!
Meet 10 minutes before your tour starts on the Brunel Museum Piazza, on the side nearest the Thames.
If you would like to reserve a tour for just your bubble, purchase all 5 available concessions tickets, which will come to £60. This way you can ensure that you and yours get a private tour.
