“The Lucky Dog Picturehouse mix a lip-smacking cocktail of classic silent movies and zesty new live music, garnished by their own delight in entertaining an audience.  Silent Film has no finer custodians”  Nicholas Barber, BBC Culture Critic

‘Possibly the finest British production ever made’ (Bioscope)

A landlady suspects her new lodger (Novello) is the madman killing women in London.  See the film that took inspiration from Nosferatu and paved the way for ’39 Steps’ and ‘Vertigo’ as we venture into the London fog with one of the greatest directors of all time.

The Lucky Dog Picturehouse is dedicated to recreating the original cinema experience; bringing together silent films and live, era specific music. They have performed at BFI Southbank, London Comedy Film Festival, London Transport Museum, Wilton’s Music Hall, Stanton Calling and numerous other venues across the UK.

Please note: We try our best to make sure that our events are accessible to everyone, and are able to accommodate two wheelchair spaces on the upper balcony (we call it the Royal Box!). Do contact us if you have been affected by this and we will give you more info.
