Closure in line with new national restrictions from 5th Nov 2020

In the light of the new national restrictions from the 5th of November due to COVID-19 we are sorry to advise that the museum will be closed from Thursday 5th November to at least Wednesday 2nd December 2020 inclusive.

We ARE open Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th November 12:00 to 16:00. There are full safety arrangements in place for visitors, as there have been since we reopened in August.

Staff will continue working on museum business remotely not least because we have a six-month Culture Recovery project to deliver. They will be regularly visiting the Museum to check the collections and buildings and it is possible that some essential electrical works will be carried out in the tunnel shaft during November. We will keep you informed.

Learning remains an important part of our mission, therefore as local schools remain open, we will continue to work with them. We are also working hard making improvements to our website, and will be increasing our virtual offering in a number of exciting ways (for example, we are currently working on a fly through / virtual tour of the museum).

We look forward to seeing you in due course, until then, please keep in touch via email ( hello@thebrunelmuseum.com ) or social media.

Chair Board of Trustees, The Brunel Museum
